All evaporative cooling units need to be maintained.

Maintenance various from unit to unit, but should be carried out every 2 years for domestic units and 3-6 months for commercial units to prevent costly and untimely breakdowns. Our experienced technicians provide a service procedure that allows your unit to perform to the best of its ability.

  • During a regular service our technicians will:
  • Remove and thoroughly clean filters to remove salts, unwanted dirt and a build-up of moss and leaves.
  • Remove all old water and thoroughly clean inside of the unit.
  • Check float arm to allow proper level of water in the tray.
  • Check and clean pump to allow best performance.
  • Check fan belt for adequate tension where applicable.
  • Disinfect tray to clear all foreight material.
  • Check and test all electrical connections and components.
  • Check motor bearings and working capabilities.
  • Check airflow throughout your home.
  • Check condition of ducting.
  • Provide a full report of findings.

Winter Shutdown

  • Winter Shutdown service includes ...
  • Shut off water and electricity unit.
  • Remove old water and drain valve from tray to stop build-up of unwanted mineral deposits over the winter period.
  • Cover the unit with panels or a fitted cover provided by the owner.
